 Writing: Five Dock

poets knowitI went down to Five Dock
to see what I could see
the girls in tight dresses
way above the knee

the boys they were a googling
the girls they didn't care
I went down to five dock
to see what I could hear

Nothing much to speak of
nothing much to see
can't say I had a good time
but the coffee suited me

I went down to five dock
to see what I could see
I left the place dejected
no sights had greeted me

You went down to Five Dock
To have a coffee
Instead you got to perve at girls
And ogle them with glee.

You went down to Five Dock
Because you were a-bored,
you'd be far more productive
spending time with the Lord.

The Lord he was a telling me
get down the street and join me
a perve you might be missing mate
so leave the desk and run straight

So off I went as quick as hell
didn't want to offend my Pal
he was a chuckling at my state
I'm sure it was far more than fate

so him and me had coffee and cake
no ill was thought and none was spake
we had our time just him and me
my life on hold as we partake

Now a perve it started out to be
nothing more than feeling free
I went with perving on my mind
returned refreshed, the lord agreed
