 Project Information: Stairs

The Building and Construction IndustryI have just finished a set of stairs so the clients could get from their house down into the garage. The opening had always been there so for me, it was a simple job of creating the stairs to fit.

They were solid stairs (had treads and risers) and made out of meranti. Due to the confines of space, I had to stick a winder in the landing but as a finished product they are great.

I guess that the client saved about one third on the cost. More because I did it for him on an hourly rate than a quote and everything just went like clockwork

It was great to get out and get real rather than sitting in front of a computer screen.
